ACS upgraded to 8.8-2:   We have been waiting for ACS 8.8 to upgrade our HSG80 storage controllers for a long time. A really long time. Finally, we have the hundred or so 8.8-2 cards in hand to upgrade our controllers, and I swapped out the five pairs in the development cluster this afternoon. (76 words, 0 comments, 0 pings)

He's talking about gremlins, right?:   Always design and code assuming that threads are more asynchronous than you can imagine. Anyone who's written a lot of code knows that computers have little creatures that enjoy annoying you. Remember that when you code with threads there are a lot of them loose at the same time.
