Ethernet failure:   Gaaa! Just when I was thinking that we had had a successful month with no hardware failures, a gigabit ethernet adapter failed in one of the GS160 partitions. Normally, this would have been fine, as they were configured to be dual redundant. But, due to some politics, the redundant adapters were being used as a private network for database lock traffic, and the machine dropped off the network. (68 words, 0 comments, 0 pings)
