Update on SAN issues

The SAN issues we've been having have been narrowed down to either the HBA firmware or a problem within OpenVMS itself.

Using a fibrechannel analyser, HP captured traces between the HSG80 and switch, and the switch and the HBA. Somehow, the HBA is not returning a packet acknowledgement it should be.

The problem has been sent to Engineering for a hard look. Hopefully we will have a resolution soon.

Update (29-Dec): Perhaps clearing the switch firmware was premature. Focus has returned there.
