What is it with me and O/S bugs?

One of the GS1280s crashed over the weekend with a system service exception. This was a little unexpected to say the least. My major concern was that the issue was not caused by some flaky hardware, so I logged a call with HP to ensure that what I thought I was seeing in the crash dump and error log was really a software error, and not a hardware error in disguise.

HP confirmed that the hardware was not at fault and asked for a copy of the dump. Seems I've found yet another bug in the operating system.

This is version 8.2 with zero patches.
