Brocade releases

Brocade announced a new version of their SAN OS for the Silkworm family of SAN switches today. They also announced the industry's first 4 Gb/s switch. You can see the details at the Brocade webpage article.

The most interesting thing in the new OS appears to be a feature that allows you to record up to two years of performance data per switch port, which will be extremely useful for tracking performance trends.
