Over the last couple of days we have been looking at "Instant Support Enterprise Edition", a proactive hardware support solution that HP is using in an attempt to replace the call logging section of DSN LINK.
The product is based on a client that runs on each host reporting to a W2K box. There is an extensive list of host operating systems supported by the client, including OpenVMS.
So far, we have only been given an overview. I will report more on the product in coming weeks once we have it installed on a few development systems.
