California earthquake

There was a pretty strong earthquake in California today. There was some moderate damage in a town that was fairly close to the epicentre and at least three people were killed.

I didn't notice the quake until it was reported on the news as I am about 200 km from the epicentre. However, looking at the shake map for the event, at least some people in my area felt it.
