Feature list for OpenVMS 7.3-2

HP yesterday published a document that lists the major features upcoming in OpenVMS 7.3-2, due to be released in Q4 2003. It makes interesting reading as it includes some features that we have been waiting for for some time.

Some highlights are:

  • Error log viewer
  • Fastpath for LAN and PE Drivers
  • LAN failover
  • Dissimilar sized member of a shadowset
  • Dynamic volume expansion
