Merger Madness

The independent proxy service counting the votes on the Hewlett Packard vote returned the results this afternoon. The margin was three percent in favour of the merger. However, Walter Hewlett has already announced that he will challenge this and ask for a recount. Additionally, his allegations that Hewlett Packard used corporate assets to influence major institutional shareholder's votes is still to be heard in a Delaware court on 23 April.
