Merger Vote Today

For those of us tied in some way to Hewlett Packard or Compaq, today is the day that the HP shareholders vote on the proposed merger. At this stage, it looks like it's going to be exceedingly close. My bet is we are going to see similar shenanigans to the last US Presidential election.

And at the end, I suspect we are going to see a bloodbath in both companies' management ranks, whichever way the vote goes.
