Downloads legalese

I don't like the GNU General Public License. The licensing terms that apply to the downloads and code available on this site are more and less restrictive than the GPL.

I want you to be able to include my code in any of your projects without placing restrictions on what you can and can't do with your code.

I also have my ego, so I don't want you to remove my name or the licensing terms from the code and claim it as yours. Conversely, I don't want people modifying my code, distributing it, and claiming any introduced bugs are mine. (Obviously, there are simple ways to circumvent this restriction, such as distributing verbatim copies of the software and patch files to implement your changes. However, if you want to do that, why not send me the patch files and I'll incorporate your changes in the original. It's happened before...)

So, at the top of the source modules included in all the downloads, you will find the following text (or a link to this page). I hope that you can respect these simple restrictions.
